What is Refugee Help Map?

Refugee Help Map connects initiatives, that intend to help refugees, with volunteers that are willing to help. You can browse all available assignments in a list or map view and filter them by categories to find the ones suitable for you. You can search assignments by your location. Simply type in your location (by country, city, state or even your address) in the search bar on the landing page .

What can i do as an organisation?

Create assignments

Fill out the information for an assignment and add the amount of volunteers and timeslots to it. You can create as many assignments as you need.

Manage participation in assignments

You can directly view which volunteers signed up for it, have a look at their profiles, contact them directly if needed or cancel a participation.

Can I add a category myself?

As a starting point the categories are provided by Refugee Help Map. If you have a category which isn’t provided yet please write us with your request at: feedback@refugeehelpmap.eu

How does the communication between volunteers and organisations work?

Ideally there is no “extra” communication required between a volunteer and an organisation. Both a volunteer as well as an organisation can cancel the participation for an assignment directly. In case you need to clarify anything in more depth you can find the contact information on the profile.

Who can see my profile?

Your data will only be visible to an approved organisation and only for the ones where you committed to participate in an assignment.
